Hello fellow Texas Ecopreneurs,
We are starting a kiosk at North Star Mall in San Antonio Texas. Anyone is welcome to come take advantage of this opportunity for training or to sign up customers as long as you prebook your shift. All customers you sign up you keep. You may also bring your own preapproved flyers and business cards to give out. We will start on April 1st. The shifts will be as follows (at least for now, this is all subject to change, depending on market conditions...)

Monday -Friday 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM $25.00
Monday -Friday 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM $30.00
Saturday - 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM $55.00
Saturday - 12:00N - 5:00PM $55.00
Saturday - 4:00 PM - 9:00PM $55.00
Sunday - 12:00N - 5:00PM $55.00
Sunday 1:00 PM - 6:00PM $55.00
The logic behind the shifts is this: most of our ecopreneurs work m-f jobs, and traffic in the mall is lower at those times. We wanted to give an incintive to work those days by offering discounted rates. With only one ecopreneur at a time, it is very easy to keep what you fish...
The weekends are when the mall is packed. Between North Star and La Cantera, there are approximately 8, 000 - 9,000 people on any given weekend. Holidays are even higher. For this, we charge a premium. Consider, for the first San Antonio Homeshow we did, there was a projected 5,000 visitors in the fri-sun venue. We paid $1500.00 for those 3 days, and divided it amongst 7 of us... For $55/ shift, there will be only 2 ecopreneurs at any given time at the booth. Those are very nice odds.
We will be having an information gathering meeting on Thursday March 29th at 7 pm at our home. Individuals will be allowed to sign up for shifts, ask questions, etc. Please make an effort to be there if you have any interest in participating with the kiosk.
